“…a passion for the stage…”
Elizabeth Henley’s goal as an artist is to connect audiences with plays, characters, and moments in meaningful ways. She works to accomplish this goal through her crafts as an actor, director, and theatre educator. Elizabeth holds an Associate of Arts in Theatre and Cinematic Arts from Eastern Arizona College (2005), a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Education from the University of Arizona (2008), and a Master of Arts in Directing from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University in Chicago (2014).
Elizabeth has a passion for the stage and has acted in such beloved productions as Anything Goes, Urinetown, And Then There Were None, Beauty and the Beast, and The Importance of Being Earnest. Some of her favorite directing projects include Once Upon a Mattress, I Never Saw Another Butterfly, Little Women, Radium Girls, and Blithe Spirit.
Elizabeth’s early career was spent teaching theatre for grades 6-12, where she was able to exercise her craft with a diverse group of students. Since leaving the public school arena, she has been teaching at Cochise College and Eastern Arizona College. She directs and is an adjunct instructor for EAC, where she also recently served as the Interim Associate Professor of Theatre.
Stay tuned for future projects!
